Eckankar, the Path of Spiritual Freedom - Walk with Me, Mahanta

Each week, the ECKANKAR Spiritual Center of Portland offers a broadcast video excerpt about an aspect of Eckankar, the Path of Spiritual Freedom. This week, Harold Klemp, the spiritual leader of Eckankar, shares stories and insights and explains the term—Mahanta— as follows: Eckankar has two parts to it, the inner and the outer teachings. The outer teachings include Eckankar public talks by Harold Klemp, books by Harold Klemp, and other writings by Harold Klemp. The inner teachings are the greater part of this path. Here Eckankar includes such things as dream travel - in other words, your dreams, Soul Travel, and the ECK Vidya–which means in contemplation where you get an insight into your own future or other things that are helpful to you, if and when the occasion warrants. The two parts of Eckankar also have the two parts of the Master: the outer and inner Master. The greater part of this teaching is the inner Master, and this is the Mahanta. It is a state of consciousness. Eckankar.org shares: You are Soul, an eternal, creative being. Unlimited. Divine. Does something inside you long to know life’s purpose? To make sense of the world around you? Eckankar is an active, individual, creative spiritual practice. A companion and road map for your journey home—to the heights of Self-Discovery and God-Discovery, and beyond. Come along and discover the most secret part of yourself. The key to spiritual freedom lies within you.
